Cadre Harmonisé: 34.7 million people across 27 states and the FCT projected food insecure June–August 2026, up from 27.2 million at the time of analysis. Borno 2.9m, Yobe 1.6m, Adamawa 1.4m. 650,730 IDPs in crisis phase. Critical acute malnutrition recorded in Central Borno, Maiduguri, Jere, Mobbar and parts of Yobe. Nigeria was projected to record the largest surge in food insecurity globally in 2026.
